You Are Likely a First Born |
At your darkest moments, you feel guilty. At work and school, you do best when you're researching. When you love someone, you tend to agree with them often. In friendship, you are considerate and compromising. Your ideal careers are: business, research, counseling, promotion, and speaking. You will leave your mark on the world with discoveries, new information, and teaching people to dream. |

Memory Lane: Part II: Mexico Missions
This Blog entry is dedicated to the Mexico Missions trip I went on Summer 2004! It was amazing and a lot of my favorite pictures are from this trip, hope I don't bore you too much.
This picture was taken near the end of the trip, it was one of the last places we visited. Everywhere we went we would do a crusifiction skit along with a vacation bible school for the kids, this particular time it was pouring down rain right before, but once it came time to do the crusifiction and resurection the sun came out and rainbow appeared. It was a perfect moment.
After a long flight- ha how cute. :o)
Oh Roger! This is in the airport before we came home.>He looks a little worn out.
Bill has Hair!! This is Bill being a clown for the kids during our bible school.
This is one of my most treasured pictures. We went to a very discrete myian village, This littler girl that we are all praying for was very sick. Her mother asked Dr. Roger to look at her since the closest medical attention was an hour away. He came to the conlusion that she had some type of serious-respitory infection- she had white fingertips because there was poor circulation and she was coughing, It was the saddess thing I have ever seen. Her mother could not afford to pay $10.00!!! to the nearest hospital for medical attetion. This litter 3 year old was also 1 of like 7 kids.
Umm... well if you know me I DO NOT LIKE BIRDS. Im terrified- Lets just say I had a very Bad experience.
Playing pata cake!
Isnt this adorable, sisters taking a bath in the front yard.
Lindsey and her girls, these girls followed her around all over. They totally loved her.
Open Bible Mexicana!!
This is David, He followed me all the time-totally cute. This is also one of my pictures I keep in my bible.
Gabe!! self-explanitory.
Little girl at VBS! she was to cute.
More VBS kids!
This was our bus driver... he was great! But I dont rememeber his name....Bill? help?
Totally cute clowns!
Well I hope you enjoy my pictures, they bring back great memories that I will always remember and keep in my heart. This trip was life changing and God really work in my life, when I look at these pictures It reminds me of how bless I am and how gratefull I am for my family and friends. I Love you guys! :o)

Memory Lane: Part I
Yes, This is a copy off of Hannah's Blog But I have some great pics that I want to post. So here ya go.
This is my sophmore year prom in Oklahoma with Ben. (his Jr. Year) It was soo much fun, In this picture we look so "little" :o) If you look Ben still has his braces...hahaha
This is on the Chicago Missions Trip 2003. This picture was taken on our night off in the subway, exploring the streets of Chicago.
Ha, This picture isn't the greatest But it brings back a great memory. This is in Paris, France. Laura Colby (taking the picture) and I got hit on by these french boys, only one of them could speak some English. They might not be the most "gorgeous" boys but they were nice and had a FRENCH accent!
These next two pictures are from Mexico Missions Trip 2004. Isnt this adorable?! This little boy is actually in his dads food basket on his bike, too cute.
This is one of my favorite pictures from Mexico. (Notice the sunburn?) But this little boy just broke my heart. Can you guess how old he is? Well he has a disease that causes him to not grow regularly. I made him the happiest boy in the world with a few crayons and a sheet of paper. I dont remember his name but I keep a picture of him in my bible to remind me.
Well there you go. Hope you enjoy the pictures! PS: Can you guess how old the little Boy is? PSS: MOM you cant guess!!!

Family
Over break I had a lot of fun being with my family. It seems like when I am at college I miss them sooo much but then when I get home they annoy me to death. :o) For New Years, since there was no church stuff going on, we made our own Family New Years trip at Mall of America. On christmas, us girls got a basket with New Years party stuff and a card, each with 100 bucks to spend. It was fun, we went swimming and shopping and stayed up late playing poker. My dad taught EMILY pretty well...she almost beats him everytime. I think that the coolest thing we did though was just spending time together. After we counted down and watched the ball drop we had a bible study and just spent time as a family.
Being here at college I miss those moments, but I cherish them even more now. I love my family so much and miss them a lot. But I think that being here God has really showed me a lot and is continuing to teach me things. Even though sometimes I just want to give up and come home, I know that God wants me to finish what I have started and to continue to seek him.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD...
Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you and watch over you...
